Born and raised in California, Shawn joined the Navy in 1994 and proudly served his country before starting the next chapter of his life. After getting married in 2005, he and his wife moved to Texas in 2006, where they purchased their first home. As a first-time homebuyer, Shawn was thrilled to achieve the dream of homeownership, but he also remembers having many questions throughout the process.
